in reply to: Budget Batch Tank Set Up #13377
G’Day Dodds,
I don’t have a definitive answer but I would give some consideration to the amount of product you are batching at a time.
I mostly run my T25 because of the mountains that I work in 95% of the time, however, I mix 600 litres per batch if possible.
It’s difficult to hit the KPI’s if you have to stop continually to make a batch. Easier if you have a sidekick but I don’t know anyone that can make a batch in the 90 seconds to 4 mins it takes to drop the previous load.
Hope it works out well on your new venture.

in reply to: Amazing two-storey trailer setup #13290The trailer conundrum is very similar to the boat and gun conundrum.
You know” I want a boat that’s great in the ocean and fantastic up a river” or “I want to shoot and deer today and rabbits tomorrow, what’s the best caliber”.
I’ve come to the conclusion that unless you stick to the flatland or never come out of the high country…..you need two trailers.
I’m currently working on the design for a SxS and trailer to be transported on a truck or mother trailer! I’ll supply photo’s when I get a chance to finish the design and build it.

Yes, definitely difficult to keep up with rule changes of the different regulatory authorities.
When I looked into this topic a while back, Agriculture Victoria would allow the dispensation with regard to an ReOC, however, only if it was the actually owner of the land in control of the RPA. You couldn’t have an employee of the company conduct the flights or an ReOC had to be in place. In short, if wages were involved the dispensation was not on offer.

Thanks for going to the effort of providing such a valuable resource to this very new part of the RPA industry. As the content becomes more extensive over time it will be invaluable for the new players.Good health
